A surprising find whilst rummaging in the fridge salad drawer; this Small White pupa had been attached to the plastic drawer for an indeterminate time so I was very happy to see it emerge successfully today. I found it on 20th Aug and it was (obviously) removed from the fridge that day!

A rainy afternoon with the sea swallowed in grey cloud was made light by many bright details of butterflies sharing their favourite and ever-giving blooms and sparks of Ukraine colours.
