🧬 Mina Gouti her team @mdc-berlin.bsky.social developed self-organising human neuromuscular organoids that recreate interactions between motor neurons and muscle cells.

This could help researchers better understand diseases such as #ALS 💙 & #SMA, and their potential treatments.

Deutsche Bahn verweist auf SMA Die Deutsche Bahn verweist darauf, dass der Stresstest ein wesentliches Ergebnis der Schlichtung gewesen und von allen Projektpartnern anerkannt worden sei. SMA habe Qualität und Methodik aktuell bestätigt. Der Durchgangsbahnhof mit acht Zu- und Ablaufgleisen könne deutlich mehr Zugverkehr abwickeln als der heutige Kopfbahnhof mit fünf Zu- und Ablaufgleisen und vielen Kreuzungskonflikten im Gleisvorfeld. Dass der Fahrplan des Stresstests auf theoretischen Annahmen beruhte, räumt die Bahn aber ein. Für die ursprünglich geplante Inbetriebnahme 2026 habe sie jedoch mit Land und Region einen konkreten Fahrplan entwickelt. Er sehe 46 kommerzielle Ankünfte zwischen 7 und 8 Uhr vor. Darüber hinaus seien weitere Verkehre möglich. Die erst 2020 vereinbarte Digitalisierung erhöhe die bereits nachgewiesene Kapazität zusätzlich. Grünen-Bundestagsabgeordneter hat Zweifel Der Grünen-Bundestagsabgeordnete Matthias Gastel sieht durch die Aussagen der beiden früheren SMA-Verantwortlichen die Zweifel an Kapazität und Zukunftsfähigkeit des Bahnknotens vergrößert. Stadtrat Hannes Rockenbauch wirbt für einen „Super-Bahnknoten“ aus Tief- und Kopfbahnhof mit insgesamt 24 Gleisen. Auch das Aktionsbündnis gegen Stuttgart 21 sieht laut ihrem Sprecher Dieter Reicherter dem Projekt die Legitimation entzogen.
