A few of the rare flat spots on #SlowWays WesSev5 between Westerham and Sevenoaks. Undulating and beautiful. Sumptuous woodlands. Pockets bulging with chestnuts.

Biggleswade to Stotfold #SlowWays big fields, bigger skies. Kestrels hover, kites soar. Clouds congregated then coalesced for showers in the evening.

Grey grit path curls left past .To the right grassy fields with a farm in the distance. https://beta.slowways.org/Route/Bigsto/4718Patchy blue sky, then just flat green fields. There is a ditch to the left, unseen. Quite a monotonous image.A green strip of grass heads uphill. Brown stubble to the left, green hedge line to the right. No bird song on industrial farms.Blue grey sky. A green path goes straight between newly drilled brown earth fields. Wires on telegraph poles dissappear ino the distance.
