Like yeah, "you spread your weight out over more area," but that still shouldn't work. #Snow that's soft enough to where your normal foot goes into it all the way should still do that with #snowshoes or #skis on. It really shouldn't make any difference how big your feet are, yet it does???

#Snowshoes & #skis are something that, while I understand how they work, I don't get WHY they work. On hard packed snow you should be able to walk on it even without them. If it's loose enough for your foot to go thru normally, I don't get why making your feet "bigger" makes any difference.
