The comic begins with Elowen looking to Callie sitting at their desk, which has a beautiful blue & teal ocean view from the window in front of it. She’s surprised Callie doesn’t seem to care for her flirting with them previously as they reply, “I have too many responses to that & I’m too tired for any of them,” with their back is turned to her, putting their sketchbook away in the desk drawer. Callie tiredly walks over & flops onto their bed facefirst. They lay there, but turn their head to the side, thinking, “All I want to do is lie down & sleep,” but they look up to Elowen, who has sat on the bedside in front of them, her image captured in the sparkling reflection of their eye as they brighten up, thinking, “but I guess I quite like having Elowen here, &—” their face wrinkles in pain as they utter, “Ugh.” They roll over curling in on themself towards El, who’s visibly, but silently, annoyed with them as they groan, “El, I think this is the end. I’m pretty sure my insides are coming out &—” Elowen has a realization, uttering, “Ohh,” as Callie looks surprised & bothered by her unconcerned reaction. Callie glares at her as best they can without moving, “What do you mean, ‘oh’?”
