A very tasty Chardonnay from Santa Rita Hills in California. Elegant and nicely balanced. Complex and interesting. This Single Vineyard Chardonnay is still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years. A good sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food. 100% Chardonnay grapes were handpicked and aged on the lees for 10 months in (5% new) French Oak barrels. Organic. 13.2% alcohol by volume. 91 points. $40.
