This is a Silvertone 1377 made by Danelectro of Neptune, New Jersey. It features a solid hardwood, poplar body covered by maroon, artificial leather, with contrasting white head plate and guard plate on which all of the electronics are mounted. The guitar has two single coil lipstick tube-style pickups concealed underneath the pickguard. The body is a single cutaway. And. it has a four way adjustable unplated aluminum bridge with a Brazilian rosewood saddle. The 1377 has an aluminum truss rod that extends from the nut all the way through to the bridge. It can be seen on the surface of the guitar down the middle of the back of the neck and on the front center of the body. The guitar is 100% original and in good condition. It is a very early and rare model that still looks lovely after approximately 70+ years of existence. With its medium-fast action and terrific tone, this guitar plays like a dream. Silvertone 1375 (early U1 series) made by Danelectro of Neptune New Jersey in 1954. It's a solidbody electric guitar with an aluminum bar that runs from the headstock through body. It has a red tolex covering on the body and a white headstock with red Lightning Bolt Silvertone logo on the headstock. It has one pickup, one volume, one tone control and a toggle switch to change the tone. The white plastic pickguard that has the electronics on it including the pickup has a few chips. (See photos). The pickup is strong and sounds great. The volume control works correctly. But, the tone control does not work. Also, it's a bit scratchy sounding. So some small electronics work will need to be done. That's reflected in the price. Otherwise it's very clean but does show some wear around the body edges, a cigarette burn on the headstock, and the paint is worn off on the neck from 70+ years of playing. Photos tell the story. It appears to be all original. No case or gig bag but it will be double-boxed for shipping. Description from VintageSilvertones.com

This is a Silvertone lap steel/slide guitar made by Danelectro in New Jersey in 1953. It features a solid, hardwood body, a natural finish, a single coil pickup built into a white plastic housing (essentially a lipstick pickup without the lipstick housing) on which two white knobs are located for volume and tone control. It has a fixed nickel plated bridge/tailpiece, a cherry wood fretboard, a metal nut, a built-in cord (which was replaced with a modern cord), and an original case. This lap steel is very clean and in great shape. Get this classic for the beautiful, haunting sound of this obscenely rare lap steel.Description from VintageSilvertones.com

This is a double-cutaway Silvertone made by Danelectro of Neptune, NJ made in February of 1964. The guitar features two single coil lipstick tube pickups with stacked tone and volume controls for each along with a toggle to switch between neck, bridge or both pickups. It has a solid-center Masonite over pine body with white tolex binding, a white Masonite pickguard on which the controls are mounted and a four-way adjustable chromed brass bridge with a rosewood saddle. There's two aluminum strap pins and a redburst finish with sparkling silver colored accents. This guitar is 100% original and in good condition. With its fantastic fast action and terrific tone, this guitar plays like a dream. Although this instrument already looks lovely, a previous owner, perhaps a resident of the Haight, chose to further decorate it with Grateful Dead stickers. We chose to leave this personal touch intact as it represents part of its long history. This is the higher-end, two pickup, model of the amp-in-case line but this guitar does not include the amp-in-case. Get this great guitar while you can.Description from VintageSilvertones.com
