The Student of Prague [Der Student von Prag] (1913)

One of the earliest horror feature films made, it is also considered to be the first German art film. Restored tinting looks amazing 😍😍

Headless Horseman Friday

The Headless Horseman (1922) The earliest surviving film of the Irving story & the horseman himself (the 1st from 1912 is considered lost). Stars Will Rogers & the horseman effect is pretty impressive for its time.

September Random Horror Marathon

Another film first: the 1st horror movie remake (possibly the 1st film remake, period). Méliès remade his own film from the previous year & hand tinted it.
