The Gustafsson fellow is in the same team at that link, so yes. We've got ourselves a Swedish-born Melfest reject with some more local flavour stapled on top. Yay. #SiengLao

@heavenstobetsie.bsky.socialIs the Rebbie James listed as one of the songwriters this person?
WOOP WOOP, WELSH VICTORY #SiengLao
@heavenstobetsie.bsky.socialLOL, turns out I was around as it took them all of 5 seconds to announce the winner.
Congrats to
BAE-BAE-BAE-BAE-BAE
on beating
STAR-AR-AR-AR-AR
and
AH-AH-AH-AH-AH
#SiengLao
@onlyshadedrops.bsky.socialBAE BAE BAE BAE BAE BAE BAE #SiengLao
@ninaolive.bsky.sociallol i just got an ad break in the middle of the winning song #SiengLao
@onlyshadedrops.bsky.socialSOOOO
Bae won #SiengLao ! So Laos will be represented by Thinla with the song... yes you guessed it: Bae
@onlyshadedrops.bsky.socialHAHAHAHAHAHA THEY DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO MAKE IT SUSPENFUL #SiengLao
@onlyshadedrops.bsky.socialOh she wearing the outfit with which she performed Water... is that a clue 👀 ? #SiengLao
@onlyshadedrops.bsky.socialI'M A SUPERSTAR AR AR AR #SiengLao
@onlyshadedrops.bsky.socialSat for the #SiengLao results
@grandoldian.bsky.socialAfter careful thought, Bae gets my vote. Water's just a rip off. 🥲 #SiengLao
@brewansometea.bsky.socialAs much as I love a short national final, that was too short. At least give us an hour. #SiengLao
@heavenstobetsie.bsky.socialAnd I won't be around tomorrow afternoon to find out which song won. Oh well, never mind #SiengLao
@missdisco.bsky.social#sienglao could just merge all 3 songs together and I wouldn't notice the difference
@onlyshadedrops.bsky.socialThat was quick and effective, see y'all tomorrow for results ! #SiengLao
I'M A SUPERSTAR AR AR AR AR
@heavenstobetsie.bsky.socialI went for 2 each for Star and Bae, and 4 for Water #SiengLao
@brewansometea.bsky.socialThis system doesn't seem the best idea for a 3 song national final.
4 for water as it's more competitive than star.
@heavenstobetsie.bsky.socialI have the voting page open, but I don't know if I can really be arsed. Whatever they choose, Laos will be an also-ran in Bangkok #SiengLao
@brewansometea.bsky.socialWater isn't my favorite of the three, but it certainly is the most competitive of the songs. I prefer star but water is the better Eurovision song. #SiengLao
@heavenstobetsie.bsky.socialWell the songs are all a bit shit, but at least the vocals are weak #SiengLao
