Hollywood Suite's #Shocktober2026 brings plenty of monsters, witches and horror classics, but it's the #CinemaAtoZ documentaries that caught our eye, along with ten films we're eager to revisit!

Hour of the Wolf (1968) Philosophical statements and stories told in a philosophical way don't necessarily make for good horror. The movie was visually and technically beautiful, but it was also hollow, somewhat boring, and pretentious. 2/5βοΈ π #shocktober2026π
Peeping Tom (1960) Carl Boehmβs performance as Mark is awesome. He perfectly portrays this repressed individual who was turned in a monster. You can tell how badly his dad fucked him up by experimenting on him with recording everything as a child. 4/5βοΈ π #shocktober2026π
DrΓ‘cula (1931) Better than the English Version. It has more energetic direction & cinematography & it has a resolution to the Lucy subplot. A better Renfield too. English version has a better Dracula though. I'll call it a tie for the other actors. 3.5/5βοΈ π #shocktober2026π
