Fox Creek Wines #museum #tasting the #RESERVE #shiraz- 1995, 1996, 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018 & 2019- a spectacular line up all excellent except the 1995- let down by the cork. 2014 & 2006 we the standout wines- truly superb. Great consistency over the years. A FABULOUS TASTING!!

Huntington Estate Wines 2024 #mudgee #shiraz/ #CabernetSauvignon- Classic Aussie blend, purple/red in colour, elegant, complex bouquet of red berries, plums, herbs & a dash of vanillin oak. Gorgeous, rich, ripe palate with lashings of flavour, great balance & depth + a long lingering finish SUPERB!

Fox Creek Wines #backvintage tasting- the SHORT ROW #shiraz line up was excellent- 2004, 2005 ,2006, 2014, 2015 & 2016. They are all maturing elegantly but the 2006 was spectacular - complex bouquet, rich, silky smooth palate with delightful flavours and a magnificent finish.

Huntington Estate Wines 2026 #mudgee NOUVEAU #shiraz/ #PinotNoir/ #grenache- classy bouquet of red berries with a subtle hint of dried herbs. The palate is gorgeous, mouth filling, with stacks of bright flavours & a slightly tight, lingering finish. What a great blend!!

✅ on Sep. 15, 2026, the #Islamic_regime’ s agents raided the homes of #Baha’i families in #Shiraz. Following searches of the residences and the confiscation of personal belongings, 3 young people — Sarina Zayeri, Barbad Sepehri, and Arshia Jaberi — were arrested and transferred to a hidden location.

At the recent Fox Creek Wines museum tasting the JSM range was outstanding-2006,(fully mature) 2013 (aging gracefully) & 2017 (still youthful & tight) they are a blend of #shiraz, #CabernetSauvignon #cabernetfranc. All powering along with the 2017 being TRULY AWESOME & a great food wine.
