Earlier this year, SOSS NYC Action Group traveled to DC to advocate for the No Bombs Act and Prevention of Settler Violence in the West Bank.

We held meetings with the staff of Sen. Schumer, Sen. Gillibrand, Rep. Meeks, and Rep. Espaillat.

Did you know Expo hosts an annual #ShareYourVoice! workshop for young writers? And that we PUBLISH at least 1 of them? We’ve published 20+ WriteGirl & DREAMing Out Loud #ExpoContributors who have then become Expo Interns, Section Editors, readers & more! Read their work here: tinyurl.com/ExpoIssues.

We loved having WriteGirl #ExpoContributor Daniela Flores-Rodriguez at our #ShareYourVoice! workshop for, AND at our #ExpoPresents “PARA/SOCIAL” Launch Party & Reading. We’re delighted to publish her Degas- and dancer-inspired flash fiction TANGLED UP IN BLUE: tinyurl.com/ExpoTangled.
