My sketches of SFJazz concert with Dianne Reeves and Branford Marsalis and his ensemble of 5 all together truly celebrated John Coltrane on Sunday September 20th. A divine concert♥️❣️ #DianneReeves #BranfordMarsalis #EricRevis #BranfordMarsalisEnsemble #SFJAZZ

Ravi Coltrane at U.c. Theatre Berkeley 🎶🎵John Coltrane Centennial Celebration 🎵🎶 Great show, but I wish Ravi (and his talented band of local East Bay musicians) would have played more than three selections from his dad’s repertoire #sfjazz

One of my biggest musical hero’s, John Coltrane, would have turned 100 in just a few days, and we’re celebrating; Last night was an extraordinaire gig in San Francisco with Branford Marsalis Quartet. Tonight we’re looking forward to a performance by his son, the mighty Ravi Coltrane! #sfjazz
