I am tempted to try #GBBO again for Nigella, BUT I find NF generally annoying. So, people who like #SewingBee and GBBO - and found Sara Pascoe annoying, is he *that* annoying, more annoying, or not that annoying?

It's taken me a while to find time to draw it, but as soon as I saw this design on the Great British Sewing Bee, I knew Vix had to try it on!
I've also discovered the creator on Instagram, so I may have to draw some more of her amazing stuff! ^.^
Gone off the #GBBO #bakeoff this last few years. Seems to have moved to wanting to present catastrophe eg no time to cool before icing & dodgy oven shelves. Not enjoyable to watch. Unlike #sewingbee and #potterythrowdown that give realistic time and equipment not set up to fail. Leave GBBO now
Just caught up with #sewingbee final. Wonderful sewing, creativity & better with every single year
I always make a prediction of the winner on episode 1, and I got it right once again. Congrats to Anna! Consistently stunning inventiveness
Great work from Emma and Beth...all very worthy finalists
Watching #SewingBee final, it just seemed really obvious that the judges wanted Anna to win regardless. Earlier outfits of hers seemed way better than what she turned out in the final, and Beth's transformation and finale were both the best imo.
I recapped the #SewingBee Final: ariadnereviews.com/2026/09/18/s... the artfully draped bait and switch, TVs most scream-at-able moments, a 2002 novelty bedazzler and The Alternative Montage! #gbsb
Congratulations to Dr Beth on the PhD! Engineers very often do well on Sewing Bee and Bake Off. And I can 100% see Anna as a costume designer; good luck to her. Emma felt to me the least invested in winning and I wonder if that's because she already has a creative career. #SewingBee
A "really, really wonderful" from Patrick is something to treasure. For me, Beth's is the best made to measure, but I think it will all depend how heavily the judges weight this compared to the other two challenges. Strong work on the captions for Emma's kids. #SewingBee
Love the mechanism of Emma's made to measure metamorphosis, but not sure it's "gala" enough. I think Beth's might do both of being a red carpet outfit and getting the theme across. Feel I like the idea behind Anna's more than the sketch, but let's see. #SewingBee
Pah. Caught up with @sewingbee.bsky.social … thought the other top finalist should have won. That final outfit of hers was amazing #SewingBee
#SewingBee These challenges are an... interesting selection. I get the precision needed for the pattern challenge, but the transformation is a curious one; some of these fabrics are vile. Emma's jumpsuit could be amazing if it works, Beth's will be cute, no idea where Anna's going with this.
To be honest, I've got a bit of a crush on the new #sewingbee host, but it's okay, because I think @deborahmcdaid.bsky.social does as well
Totally agree. #SewingBee
I’m going into the #SewingBee final. I think I’m rooting for Beth. I quite like her. She comes across as quiet and unassuming, maybe even a bit bland BUT she just quietly gets on with being extremely talented. I like that.
At my house in Italy, using the tech of a vpn, airplay, an iphone, a mac tablet and a couple of smart tellys - basically The Lot - my brother was watching the football while my sister-in-law was keeping up with #SewingBee. Phew!
(Apparently ITVX isn't geoblocked, but we didn't know that.)
Best series of the #sewingbee for me - love the new host, a fitting winner, no conspicuous arseholes to root against. Great telly.
Beth's last dress, incredible, but fair play to Anna throughout. Gosh, what a show #SewingBee
Not who I wanted but still a worthy winner. #SewingBee #NoSpoilers
