@killickvt.bsky.socialJust binged Ossan Kensei 2 😤
The Old Man from the countryside is back. Seems like the animation, story and pacing have leveled up from season one as well. Nothing wrong with a good romp of Swords and Sorcery, but our MC is dense at times 😅

@killickvt.bsky.socialJust finished watching Mushoku Tensei 3 (Cour 1).
Yet another great season of the internet's most controversial anime. The art, pacing, music all spot on. I have to admit, that "The Diary" was a masterpiece of an episode. Looking forward to Cour 2!

@killickvt.bsky.socialJust finished watching Dara-san of Reiwa.
I wasn't quite sure where this one was headed. Started off like a good horror movie, then turned into a slice of life comedy. Loved the intermixing of back story, along with the daily shenanigans.

@killickvt.bsky.socialJust finished Daemons of the Shadow Realm.
Start this one and was hoping for a repeat of Arakawa-sensei's opus FMA. Finished of on a blue-balled cliff hanger. Need to read the source material and wait for season two.

@killickvt.bsky.socialJust finished watching Azur Lane: Slow Ahead 2.
Just cute ship girls doing things cutely in home port. It's the 4-koma brought to life. Nice short form palette clean.

@killickvt.bsky.socialJust finished Kaiju Girl Caramelise.
Usually not one for the romance genre, but when cute girl does cute things and turns into a kaiju is one hell of a sales pitch.

@killickvt.bsky.socialJust finished watching Frontier Lord.
While a bit of a slow burn, Frontier Lord is more a slice of life and town builder, than straight up fantasy adventure. Felt like a children's picture book brought to life.
Also, Alna is best girl.

@killickvt.bsky.socialJust finished watching I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand.
A decent mid-tier fantasy anime. The plot is your typical fair, with a side of power fantasy. Seemed extremely tropie at times, but overall entertaining.

@tjmasters.bsky.socialSome Autumnal contentments: Hydrangeas fading from white to dusky pink. Sedums going full pink and tall grasses in their full feathered glory. #seasonalsunday
@killickvt.bsky.socialJust finished From Overshadowed to Overpowered.
What I thought would have been a Sword & Sorcery anime, turned into a pseudo-isekai power fantasy. Enjoyed the lore and history drops throughout. Though it went from studying to save/fix the world real quick.

@killickvt.bsky.socialJust finished watching All-Works Maid.
Reminds me of when you skip the main quest and only do the side missions. Lovely character design, decent story but just a churched up seasonal filler.
