After getting dumped just before the Feast of the Winter Star, Alice is absolutely fuming. She snags a bottle of Gotoran vodka from her parents' stash, taking a heated walk with her best friend Clara through the snowy landscape of Pelican Town. Clara does all she can to cheer up her friend, while biting back her own feelings toward Alice.

Notes:

This fic is set pre-canon, and the OC in it would go on to be the farmer's mom. Right now though they're in high school, with my OC being 17 and Clara being 16. Content warning for underage drinking and mentions of George's homophobia.

This is part of my ongoing series however it can be read completely standalone. If you are following along though, this takes place the winter before the beginning of That's the way I've always heard it should be.
