I think it’s time to get back through all the scripts I started 10 years ago and dropped for whatever reason.
Maybe get back into my Thirteen Ghosts remake? Or my rendition of True Detective?

When you scrap an elf draft because even the fucking elf can’t figure it out.

Thaaaaank you (and if we ever have a #scriptchat panel at a film festival or something I hope this gets me on the panel)

Love the #scriptchat peeps.
I've been terrible about juggling all the socials, but happy you guys are chatting!
I miss OMNI magazine so often, so much.
And SPY.
We once were a decent civilization.
There was a painting, I think it was from Omni, that I wanted to reference in The Dream Police, it was a thermal image of two people communicating via ESP with glowing bulbs passing between their heads. #scriptchat
I remember Sandkings, it was adapted as the pilot for the late 90s Outer Limits series. #scriptchat
YW Jonathan, and everyone we'll do it again first Friday of November, or whenever we need an emergency group chin-wag. Until then, stay cool and keep writing. #scriptchat
One of my favorite short stories/novellas ever is a thing called "Sandkings" i read back in 1979 in OMNI magazine, Seriously creepy bug fiction. I looked it up again last year and was kinda stunned to be reminded of the author: George R. R. Martin.
😳
Fun chat tonight. Thanks for giving it some order, Chris! #scriptchat
I tend to run into a lot of Serious Mature Professional folks in the daygig.
I tend to enjoy them the same way that cats enjoy mice.
Cicada scream is the sound of a Texas summer. I miss it every year when the weather cools and the fat bastards go to sleep for another few months.
Thinking of bugs, one of the SF shorts I read was about people in an office turning into insects to get ahead in business. Reading it I realized it would be a fun stop-motion short (since they could be REALLY buggy) #scriptchat
it's true, it was part of a massive psyop conspiracy by big bug.
....dammit, now I wanna write THAT.
