More of an observation than anything else, but these roadworks in #Salthill Galway really illustrate how much space *that isn't even needed* is allocated to cars. No temporary traffic lights, diversions, tailbacks. It looks like regular pipe-work, but I really hope they're widening the footpath...

In case anyone was wondering where #Metroline VW1069 went, it relocated to
the seaside resort of #Salthill in the West of Ireland, where it leads a mostly quiet life. Only occasional light duties.
