We have seen 2 major accidents happen on Alma Road in Ponders End in the last year, with one of the collisions hitting the side of a resident's house. Cars speeding on this road is a daily occurrence, and is extremely concerning, particularly given the proximity to the school and the risk to pedestrians and families. I will raise the safety concerns around Alma Road with the Council and ask for the location to be reviewed including speeding, dangerous driving and what additional safety measures may be appropriate. Residents shouldn’t have to wait until their issues are taken seriously. I will follow up and push to make sure this area is safer for all residents.
