Last post for today. Decided to let the Dwarf Mini and the s50 observe the same item. Here is #M43 #DeMairan'sNebula / #M42 #TheGreatNebulainOrion.

#seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur #dwarflabs #dwarfmini

M43 De Mairan's Nebula / M42 The Great Nebula in Orion - s50 telescope processed image. Hubble revealed over 150 protoplanetary disks (proplyds) inside M42, capturing solar systems in the earliest stages of forming planets around newborn stars.M43 De Mairan's Nebula / M42 The Great Nebula in Orion - Dwarf Mini telescope processed image. The core illumination comes from the Trapezium Cluster, a tight four-star system where Theta-1 Orionis C generates most of the ionizing ultraviolet radiation.M43 De Mairan's Nebula / M42 The Great Nebula in Orion - Dwarf Mini unprocessed image. Physically part of the main Orion Nebula, M43 is separated from M42’s central glow by a dense foreground dust lane cataloged as the Dark Bay.M43 De Mairan's Nebula / M42 The Great Nebula in Orion - s50 unprocessed image. Unlike M42’s Trapezium cluster, M43 is ionized and illuminated almost entirely by a single massive, hot variable star designated NU Orionis.

Next up for the s50 is #SH2-171 #TheTeddyBearNebula. Even being a long-duration observation, the nebula is not very visible. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

SH2-171 The Teddy Bear Nebula - telescope processed image. Sh2-171 forms the southern emission region of the broader NGC 7822 star-forming complex, with its glowing gas loops shaping a distinct teddy bear face. SH2-171 The Teddy Bear Nebula - unprocessed image. The central ionization driving the nebula comes from young open cluster Berkeley 59, which harbors BD+66 1673, one of the hottest nearby O-type stars.

Back to the s59 - last night’s observation of #C9 / #Sh2-155 #TheCaveNebula. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

C9 / Sh 2-155 The Cave Nebula - telescope processed image. Its popular nickname stems from a curved, dark dust lane rimming glowing emission gas, creating the visual impression of looking into a deep, shadowy cave mouth.C9 / Sh 2-155 The Cave Nebula - unprocessed image. The illuminated edge of the "cave" is an active ionization front where intense UV radiation from hot O-type stars strikes the dense molecular cloud Cepheus B.

Here is the longer duration observation of #NGC6888 #TheCrescentNebula. No IR filter. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

NGC 6888 The Crescent Nebula - telescope processed image. Deep narrow-band exposures reveal a subtle outer shell of doubly ionized oxygen enveloping the brighter, filamentary hydrogen-alpha core.NGC 6888 The Crescent Nebula - unprocessed image. Long-exposure astrophotographs expose an intricate web of overlapping, shock-heated filaments that give the entire structure the look of a glowing human brain.

Good morning everyone. Time to share some results from last night. First in the unsuccessful observation of #161PComet. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

161P Comet - telescope processed image. Not much to see in the image. I got excited probably to think a comet was visible that I didn’t check to see if it was bright enough. 161P Comet - unprocessed image. I assume the comet is there. Will find out more if it will be more visible shortly.

Last image of the night by the s50 - #M74 #ThePhantomGalaxy. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

M74 The Phantom Galaxy - telescope processed image. Featuring clean, perfectly defined spiral arms originating from a central nucleus, it serves as a textbook example of a grand design spiral galaxy.M74 The Phantom Galaxy - unprocessed image. Astronomers detected an ultra-luminous X-ray source inside it, hinting at a rare intermediate-mass black hole roughly 10,000 times the mass of the Sun.

Here is #SH2-158 / #NGC7538 #TheNorthernLagoonNebula. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

SH2-158 / NGC 7538 The Northern Lagoon Nebula - telescope processed image. It harbors the largest known protostar, an immense embryo roughly 300 times the size of our solar system and over 300,000 times brighter than the Sun.SH2-158 / NGC 7538 The Northern Lagoon Nebula - unprocessed image. Located in the Perseus Spiral Arm, this active H II emission region is filled with massive molecular clouds undergoing rapid, high-mass star formation.

Pretty much a nebula focused night for the s50. Here is #NGC7635 #TheBubbleNebula. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - telescope processed image. The delicate sphere is inflated by a fierce wind of particles driving outward at 4 million mph from an O-type star 45 times more massive than our Sun.NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - unprocessed image. The central illuminating star sits far off to one side rather than in the middle, because the expanding bubble collides with dense gas on one side.

Next up for the s50 is an observation of #M16 #TheEagleNebula. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

M16 The Eagle Nebula - telescope processed image. Made famous by Hubble, its iconic towering dust columns are active stellar nurseries where embryonic stars are condensing into existence.M16 The Eagle Nebula - unprocessed image. Jean-Philippe de Cheseaux discovered the star cluster in 1745, but it was Charles Messier who later noted the surrounding glowing gas nebula.

Starting with the observations from the s50 from last night. First up is #M57 #TheRingNebula. Sharing both IR filter and non-IR filter versions. You can notice the loss of stars in the IR filtered image. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

M57 The Ring Nebula - IR filtered processed image. Formed when a red giant ejected its outer layers, M57 provides a vivid preview of how our own Sun will shed its atmosphere in about 5 billion years.M57 The Ring Nebula - non-IR processed image. The shell of ionized gas is expanding outward into deep space at a blistering speed of roughly 20 to 30 kilometers per second.M57 The Ring Nebula - IR filtered unprocessed image. The distinct colors mark temperature zones: inner blue ionized helium, green oxygen in the ring, and cool red hydrogen around the outer edge.M57 The Ring Nebula - non-IR unprocessed image. French astronomer Antoine Darquier de Pellepoix independent of Charles Messier reported it in 1779, describing it as resembling a fading planet.
