Today a grave hip crashed nearby! I swam across the river surrounding me to investigate it and many tilapia swam with me. I’m going to need to bring it closer to home since there are fingers and pandas over there. The first rice harvest came in.

My house is enclosed! And I made a fire to cook with! Dahlia can now attack on command, so next up is training her to attack targets. She’s the best. I began harvesting the local berries today. I don’t think they’re dangerous. My first meals are made with them and alpaca meat.

Woke up to a spaceship chunk crashing nearby! Very loud, and nearly hit my house. Which I can now (almost) call a house-finally started building the door which I was very desperately ignoring. The swamp cooler is in. Dahlia hunted an alpaca, so I started training her to attack.

I apparently really love the outdoor ambiance of my home. Just a roof over my poor bed is fine for me, for now. I’ve gotten somewhat better at cutting plants! On my wander this morning, I found alpacas, but no heal root anywhere.

I forgot to build a roof on my home. So now I’m soaking wet, but- lessons learned: check the roof is complete prior to finishing the rice field. In good news, my research bench is complete, though I don’t expect much time to use it soon. Dahlia hunted a rat today.

Continued building my home today. Lots of marshy soil makes planning tricky, but plenty fertile, too—plants aren’t my thing, but rice is sown! A troupe of monkeys live on my island. Will tame them after I figure out food and not being hunted by tigers…

Day1
Raven: reporting live from the rim.
Arrived alone on an unnamed planet w/ my pet Warg, Dahlia. It's nice & warm: a jungle, and I'm claiming the island for my future home! Not great at building, but I've waited for this for years-I'll figure it out.
Teak trees are hard.
