The ballad form folksongs usually seem to me to be most suited to being turned into a #rumba within the modern #dance styles. So that's what I've done with the #music for Down By The Salley Gardens:

Inma Cuesta recuerda a Rumba casi tres meses después de su muerte y habla del duelo por la compañera que estuvo a su lado durante cerca de 18 años. #InmaCuesta #Rumba #Duelo #Mascotas #Perros #Famosos #Cultura #Actualidad #Animales #AmorAnimal #Celebridades #felizmiercoles #7deoctubre

I've arranged the #music for The Londonderry Air / Danny Boy as a #rumba - although it feels somewhat fast, even at that slow #dance style, compared with some vocal performances. I've also been experimenting with the available standard MIDI percussion.

The most appropriate #dance style for the #music of Loch Lomond seemed to be a #rumba

Despite trying to simplify it, it still has too many chords for Latin American though.

I also tried the #music for Auld Lang Syne as a #rumba #dance but that does make it quite slow, like a lullaby rather than with Latin Americanised passion, maybe for all the friendly drunks finally falling asleep.
