I’ve been on the committees for RSECon25 & #RSECon26 … and plan to join again for #RSECon27. Every year it’s been an amazing group of people who are friendly and supportive. Please join us!

🏆We’ve won a poster prize!🎉
We’re delighted that the SHAREing poster was recognised with a poster prize at #RSECon26!
A huge thank you to the RSE team, who are developing the methodology behind the work. And, of course, thank you to everyone involved in SHAREing, this is very much a team effort!
🎉 We're beyond proud and delighted that ICCS was the joint winner of the Community Award (Training & Education) at #RSECon26!
Jack Atkinson and Marion Weinzierl were on hand to collect the award on our behalf. Thank you to everyone who's been involved with our work. ❤️
Also as a #LEGO enthusiast, I thoroughly appreciated the new "Batton" which is being passed from the #RSECon26 chair to the #RSECon27 (Which will be in #Edinburgh)
Very proud to see @rosfrankinst.bsky.social as a Bronze sponsor for #RSECon26 especially contributing to the Participation Fund to allow as many people as possible to make it to this excellent conference and help us to build collaborations.
Starting day 3 of #RSECon26, interesting keynote by April Johnson focusing on many of the "Soft Skills" which are super important in RSE. Nice to highlight the benefits and purposes of the keypoints #Welcoming #Listening #Connecting #Moving when dealing with communities.
Day 3 of #RSECon26 is underway!
We kicked off our final day with a keynote from April Johnson on the human work behind open scientific computing.
Parallel sessions are running throughout the day until our closing remarks this afternoon.
What has been your conference highlight so far?
Lovely talk by @mdsimpson.co.uk at #RSECon26 about his work around mental health and his @softwaresaved.bsky.social fellowship. He had some great tips which might help some. I particularly liked "Eat the frog"!
Had a lot of fun being on the panel of the @biofair.bsky.social workshop "Does reuse still beat rebuilding in the AI era?" At #RSECon26. Lots of great conversations and questions from the audience.
Half way through #RSECon26, just been deploying websites with podman and Kubernetes
