Red-shouldered hawk #rouse

AB posted today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme: #Elegant, & for contrast the alt. is #Scruffy. Mine’s a twofer from 9/12.

That scruffy look isn't the wind—it's "rousing," a behavior where they fluff up, & shake to reset their feathers.
