Two years ago, when rope climbs were mostly me fighting with the J-hook and losing. 😂

If you know, you know.

At least I looked determined. 😏

Two photos from a CrossFit gym two years ago showing me practicing a rope climb while learning the J-hook. I’m suspended on a thick black climbing rope in a dusty-rose sports bra, dark gray shorts, and black trainers, working to secure the rope with my feet while holding myself up with my arms. Brick walls, steel rigging, kettlebells, and whiteboards are visible in the gym behind me.
