Step 5 is complete. Let's see if it actually made a difference with the green onyx. #crystals #rocktumbling
Sampling of monster pieces in prepolish. Still have a month and a half to go before being completed. #bluewizardrocks #rocktumbling #agate #rockslabs
Did some what I call “dumpster diving” rockhounding when on a quick trip to Louisiana. A quick run through some parking lot gravel will sometimes pay off. #bluewizardrocks #lapidary #rockhounding #rocktumbling
So far, so good. Some of the pieces are moving on to step 2, while the bigger ones are getting run through yet again until they are the perfect necklace size. #crystals #rocktumbling
My permanent Step 1 Tumbler, is complete. Let's see how all the various stones are doing. #crystals #rocktumbling
I keep telling myself to stop picking up plain gray quartz, but it just shines up so nice! #rocktumbling #rockhounding
I know they look glossy, and I said, I wanted to save the step 5 grit, but now I'm curious to see how far I can take these. And thanks to the continuous support of all our wonderful followers, I can always get more. 😘

The chevrons and fire agates are coming out great, but I must temper, my expectation and wait until they dry. #crystals #rocktumbling
Shiny rose quartz and amethyst fresh from the polish! #rocktumbling
Up next in the double barrel tumbler: citrine, petrified wood and a couple of tree agates, before pics

Finished the first two barrels of rocks on my new rock tumbling machine this evening. Barrel one had an assortment of agates and jaspers, barrel two held snowflake obsidian

It's rinse day! Here's what's rolling in the main tumbler. All of it was hand-collected except for the big amethyst and the rose quartz. Those were gifted to me. #rocktumbling #rockpolishing #rockhounding
I'm actually surprised I don't know if you can tell from the camera, but the green onyx actually has a little bit of gloss to them. So you know what, I'm gonna do it again and see what happens. #crystals #rocktumbling
For my longtime followers, you can definitely recognize this piece. My partner has deemed it too big to actually turn into jewelry so I am placing this on the table separately. 😉

The final step, let's see how they came out. Again, don't have very high hopes for the green onyx. Due to them, being more of a mineral than a crystal, but still have some plenty of good pieces. #crystals #rocktumbling
I’m so pleased with how these tumbled rocks turned out 💜
Looking amazing. On to Step4 where they will hopefully be glossy, and i can save the Step 5 grit. Here's to hoping.

Texas roundup! Most of these were self collected on my travels around the state. Agate, jasper, petrified wood, and chert. #bluewizardrocks #lapidary #rockhounding #rocktumbling
