@raphaelweyland.bsky.socialWell done, all climate deniers, fossil fuel lovers, farm lobbyists against nature restoration, center-right politicians etc: Belgium's facing its worst drought since the 1970s! #ActTheFuckNow #RestoreNature #EUGreenDeal cc @wwf.be @greenpeace.be @natagora.bsky.social @natuurpunt.bsky.social @rtbf.be
@raphaelweyland.bsky.socialOn my way to the #MooreMotion conference @unigreifswald.bsky.social, to input on the EU policy framework for #peatlands. My takeaways: With LULUCF, HD + NRR there is regulation as to climate & nature. Just the CAP + MFF are not sufficiently delivering to protect +restore mires/bogs! #RestoreNature

#PlanetaryHealthCheck #RestoreNature

@ekoenergy.bsky.socialToday, some of our team participated in a local river restoration project.
By adding stones to the riverbed, we created suitable habitats for increasingly endangered freshwater species. Every bit helps. Think globally, act locally!
Thank you, #virho, for organising!

@byhedge.bsky.socialListened to Biodiversity Minister O’Sullivan yesterday.
He gets the crisis (I think), he’s enthusiastic about nature, we’ll see if he’s a political operator when his government sets its budget in October.
I didn’t get much of a feel for innovation or challenge. All a bit soft.
