To act #appropriately as u said the #AI did, isn’t acting #responsibly. To be appropriate is to understand right from wrong. To act responsibly is to understand moral duty. A moral duty would be to say no I won’t do that as it’s wrong.

To have a moral compass u have the ability to think independently. To think u must have a conscience. To have a conscious u must have a #soul.
@silverywildebeest.bsky.socialU want #AI to act #responsibly. There is a problem with this 1. Humans have never ever acted responsibly all the time. If they did we would have no crime. We would have no bullying. We would have no insulting. We would have no #JeffreyEpstein’s of the world. But we do.
