That's the thinking behind Stop Breed for Greed.

Not anti-breeder. Not anti-breeding. Just better accountability.

Because every dog deserves a good start in life. And every dog deserves for the people around them to take responsibility for getting it right.
Every dog starts with a breeder.
Every dog matters 💚

From the moment a dog is bred to every change of ownership that follows, responsibility should be visible, traceable and accountable.

Responsible breeding, informed ownership, good education, early support and access to appropriate training all have a role to play.

Education + prevention + accountability = a more responsible approach to dog ownership.

A joined-up lifetime record could help turn fragmented information into meaningful accountability.
Better systems. Better information. Better enforcement.

Waiting until something goes badly wrong isn't a responsible system.
Prevention, accountability and early intervention can protect dogs, owners and the public.

We believe accountability should follow the dog throughout its lifetime — from breeder to owner and beyond.
*Every dog starts with a breeder*

That's why Stop Breed for Greed is calling for every dog to have a lifetime record, linking breeder, dog and owner from the very beginning.
*Every dog starts with a breeder*

The Taskforce recommendations reinforce something we have long believed: if we want responsible ownership, responsibility has to start at the source.
• Every dog starts with a breeder
• Traceability drives accountability
