Then ask why the data are missing.
Are the missing observations random, or are they linked to a particular group, outcome, or study condition? That difference can matter a lot.

Ask whether it changes confidence in the findings, how the results should be interpreted, or how broadly they can be applied, and whether the claims reflect that.
