Christians are called to focus on God’s voice, so that He can guide us through the anxiety to a place of peace. This peace is not a stop to the anxiety, but to endure through the anxiety without fret. #Deuteronomy134 #MannaForTheMind #RelationshipWithGod #ChristianDuties #ResponsibleChristian

God lays out what a relationship with Him looks like. It's our turn to hold up our end of the relationship. #Deuteronomy134 #MannaForTheMind #RelationshipWithGod #ChristianDuties #ResponsibleChristian

It may feel more difficult, because it will be counter-cultural. It creates a dependence on Him, and how we receive His love and mercy and reflect that to our neighbors around us.

God is the foundation of our lives. We need to strive for a reconciled relationship with God and learn how to reflect God's love to other. #Psalm631 #MannaForTheMind #RelationshipWithGod #GodIsOurRefuge #GodIsOurSafeSpace

Let nothing replace the Lord in your life!!!

I gained all but 2lbs of the weight I lost at the Sanctuary back. I’m still actively trying to get put on a GLP1, probably Zepbound because it is also approved to treat sleep apnea, which I have, and apparently my insurance won’t approve a GLP1 just for weight loss. I know I’m not completely innocent in gaining that weight back. But it’s also very hard for me to lose weight in the middle of severe medical trauma. Almost everything I have done to self soothe sabotages either my spiritual growth, my finances or my physical recovery. Nursing homes aren’t built to support personal autonomy, which makes the survival mode over been in for years even harder to navigate. Please keep the prayers coming. I love you all.

Ignoring or belittling pain will prevent us from being able to experience contentment!!!

As excited as I am about this move, and as much as I know it is from the Lord, it is also triggering my PTSD. I have not left any of my previous three long term care facilities on my own terms. This move is voluntary, but it wasn't my idea or my timing. Living here changed my life for eternity, even as my physical health battle rages on.
I am so thankful that nothing surprises the Lord and that Christ gives me the strength to face anything. Even this.
