Fear of masks; fear of admitting that #COVID is airborne; is not just a bad cold; is not yet endemic, that vaccine-acquired immunity is too short lived to #VaxAndRelax; that #Reinfections are bad, that #LongCOVID is real, & still without a cure (the risk of which is cumulative), etc.

Also, had governments retained #NPIs such as #N95 masks, #AirCleaners, #COVID PCR testing (negative results from #RATs are unreliable), paid sick leave, & educated the public about the risk of #Reinfections - we could possibly have got by with an annual vax for most, with less COVID in circulation.
