I like that the premise of this movie is that at the end of Rambo 2 John walked off the covert CIA base in Thailand and hiked all the way to a Buddhist monastery in Bangkok to chill for a few years.

I don't think the producers (or even Stallone) really understood the appeal of Rambo was that he was a warrior fighting the very people/system that created him to be used and discarded for their wars.
One of the sequels should be about that kid.
Did I just see Rambo riding a horse and carrying a flaming molotov cocktail?
Why would you turn your backs on the 2 ex Green Berets and just leave all that ordnance behind for them to pick up and shoot you in the back with?
Ah yes, the 80s, when a man could outrun an explosion!
Fasten your seat belts, y'all!
You know, somebody really should have had John team up with some elite Russian ex-commando who got screwed over by his government. Woulda made a good team.
Hrmmm... another Russian Capt in a helicopter. Think we know the classic character flaw with these guys from the last movie.
All them muscles better be good for something other than looking pretty in the soft glow of explosions from a firefight.
I'll join in you guys for the last 40 minutes of this.
