Jayden Daniels is cleared and starting after missing two games. I want quick answers and smart exits when the pocket breaks, so he finishes the day healthy.

Jayden Daniels is expected to play on Sunday but both Diggs and McLaurin are likely out.

Washington has 7 sacks through four games, tied for 22nd. New York has allowed 11, also tied for 22nd. (Commanders.com) Daronte Jones can move the front around, but these pressures need to end with the quarterback down.

5 things to watch as Giants face Commanders in Week 5 of 2026 NFL Season.

Amik Robertson has a pass breakup in three straight games and 7 this season, tied for third in the NFL. (Giants.com) Malik Nabers just went for 112 yards, so Robertson's ball production is the Washington DB stat I'm watching.

Arvell Reese leads the NFL with 26 solo tackles through four weeks. He added 3 passes defensed and his first pick against Arizona. (Giants.com) I'd use play action to make the rookie hesitate before our backs hit the crease.

Deatrich Wise is back at practice after rehabbing last season's torn quad. He still has to be activated. If Washington clears him, I want his size on early downs and the speed rushers taking the obvious passing snaps.

New York's defense is 9th in yards allowed through Week 4, yet it has just 3 sacks and has allowed 48.9% conversions on third down. (PFR/Commanders.com) I want us living in manageable third downs.

Matt Nagy's Giants are 27th in first-down EPA/play (-0.125), 10th in second-down success rate (46.3%) and ninth in third-down conversion rate (43.4%) through Week 4. (NFL) I want the defense cashing in when New York loses first down.

The London loss came with a late trip home and more medical work waiting. Dan Quinn said the staff was still sorting through injuries Monday night. I'm watching Wednesday's participation before buying any optimism about Giants week.

Through Week 4, Washington has 8 TD passes (tied 8th) and 1 INT (tied fourth-fewest). The 56.9% completion rate ranks 29th. (NFL) I like the scoring, but an offense missing that many throws is hard to trust drive to drive.

It is worth noting that the DC Defenders are still the best football team in the DMV area. 🤷‍♂️
