All reassembled and it appears to be free of leaks now 🤞
The Stahlbus valves are expensive but really nicely made and a doddle to bleed.
Probably overkill but they sure look pretty.

Also had trouble bleeding them so I've treated it to a new hard line and a pair of Stahlbus valves.
Threw in a new rubber grommet and bracket too; ##M539Restorations is either a good influence or, if you're my bank manager, a bad one 😁
That didn't go entirely to plan because someone had split the caliper previously with a chainsaw and then pried the seal out with a hammer.
I've lapped them and the recess for the O-ring was slightly raised as you can see from the bright ring around it.
Can't help I'm afraid but fair play for rebuilding it!

Tried Rool after this video recommended it. (Worth watching, BTW.)
Asked about upgrading my #R100GS brakes.
Its summary was accurate and beautifully phrased - but, when asked about details, it descended into plausible-sounding nonsense.
I can carry on ignoring AI.
Ordered carb repair kits for the #R100GS from Motorworks, who just called to check I'd ordered the right ones.
Of course, I hadn't which I realised as soon as I saw who was phoning me - what great service!
Anyway, here's an old photo of my bike being used in an advert for Hideout. #motorcycle
