A #Quar cook riding a bicycle

Show us your tanks!
The great thing about #Quar tanks is kit bashing weird and whacky vehicles.
It's positively encouraged.
Here some Quar have tea and a smoke around a heavy gun tractor.

Show us your tanks!
When Smol Angry Teapots go to war, they do it without bases.

I love these goofy bastards! #Quar

Tollyn Maeryn Dogar contraption, the Alyk II, pride of Elavyk. With some nice nose art of Alykinder himself. Funky fun little contraption, really happy with the freehanding and camouflage. Spinny video in the replies because bluesky sucks at video #28mm #quar #minipainting #miniaturepainting

Front of it has a crusader symbol. Dual mg, yellow red green dazzle camo thing, real weird fun funky guy

Rear view, with plenty of stowage for a little guy

He’s rusty he’s muddy, he’s gonna throw lots of fire downrange

man i hate decision paralysis. i'd bought a 1:35th scale TKS tank kit on ebay for like $15.. but it came with metal parts to accurize it, to the point it's probably about $50 worth of model kit. i'd bought it to convert it for use with #Quar but i'm thinking it might make sense to resell it.

The Wall moves with Coftyr! #quar

@alanronn.bsky.social Sep 19, 2026, 4:01 PM

More #quar sandwich guys. A lone coftyran trying to carry a party sub and it is not going well! Fun consistent highlight for a desaturated weird grey vibe was a fun exercise and a great result. Same volna-9 vintage glass, better results.
#minipainting #wargaming #28mm #grimsical

Ingredients are falling out because the submarine is too big

This po boy is losing things and there’s a quar there too

@alanronn.bsky.social Sep 17, 2026, 5:09 PM

More sandwich brigade on the way. Using a consistent highlight and shadow color is fun and a good exercise

#quar #minipainting #wip

Other side, some of the fillings are falling out!!!

He’s got a backpack and a rhyfle ready to go

Base coated with a dark purple red and then a grey green zenithal for a weird undercoat. These were the shade and highlight colors for the model, only using ivory for the bread. Then just picking midtones and mixing the different shades! Fun!

Finished up a #quar sandwich carrier unit and trying out a new camera lens?

Vintage MC Volna-9 lens on my fuji xt-20. It’s a nice macro lens that seems excellent down to ~1:3, but has some weird ghosting/light abberations at max 1:2 macro. Lends some interesting character!

#minipainting #macro

Two crusaders carrying a gigantic hoagie in the hills

Pink and yellow crusaders cresting a hilltop with da big submarine

Phwoar look at that grinder those boys are carrying! Got the bread to look nice and crispy and crunchy what a big po’boy

The hero is kinda obscured by weird light leaks/ghosting/idk what in this close up. It’s interesting but distracts from the big Italian

#Quar #Wargaming tonight.
6 players.

Rather chaotic. Have a headache from essentially GMing 3 different games simultaneously.
