Stanford Reservoir - popped back early evening to check the gull roost. Smart adult Mediterranean Gull & Caspian Gull. Also, 24 Little Egret & a decent Pochard count of 76.

Stanford Reservoir - 3 Whooper Swans flew in low c07.40 but had departed before I had time to get them on the water. 3rd addition to #PWC2026 this week following Grey Plover & a brief Ruff on the same day. That brings up the 150 species. Also, 14 Redwing & Siskin. @lrosbirds.bsky.social
Very pleased to find this 1CY White-rumped Sandpiper at The Ouse, Westray late afternoon. The closest bird to me as I got out of the car and lifting my bins I instantly thought, aye aye. Makes a change from it being the furthest hideaway from you in fading light! #WestrayBirding #PWC2026
