If this looks easy, it really wasn't. A stressful carve. I actually spent serious time studying how the dwarves were drawn - shared conventions and all.

Also, I had to make a rounded pumpkin appear to be inverted - hence the wall lines.

Aww thanks! Compliments usually get more pumpkin carves. Here's a Shrek Mirror carve from 2024. I understand it was even in an earlier Disney movie as well!

I especially had fun with the smoke texture and the wee little snake carves in the outer-upper mirror.

Wow, It was actually 20 years ago I did Davey Jones.

This was one of the 1st times I used multi-colored LEDs for cut-thrus (looks like I stuck a multi-colored light in a 3D Dino carve in 2005).

It still looks pretty good, but I think I've probably gotten better since then...

That looks carvable - on a pumpkin I mean (Halloween is on my mind...), although there's just not a Halloween theme.

I carved an Ursuula a decade ago and the Davy Jones Locker dude as a cut-through over 15 years ago.

Maybe a 3D version of Davey Jones this year...
