Something many #PublicAI advocates like me are aiming for is a world in which these resources aren’t just commodity products, but also public utilities (either in the sense of, like, electricity and water or in the sense of Wikipedia)

I am personally really interested in #PublicAI as a strategy for this. I think we shouldn’t let Big Tech force us into a decision between using ML or not, we should have access to tools that are accountable to the public and that won’t be subject to the whims of a handful of billionaires.
