Our beloved solo-adventuring orca Indy is still around, currently in the upper Tacoma Narrows heading south. And grays are continuing to feed & hold presence up in the Whidbey Basin. Good luck!
📷 Sharing again this excellent ID collage of Indy ♥️.

T065A5 Indy (darling of our ♥️s) mostly travels apart from his family, but meets up w/them & others every so often. Indy was back in South Puget Sound solo on Tuesday, yesterday we went w/out reports - maybe today he'll be seen.

AI detected humpback vocalizations for the first time this fall in Haro Strait last night! Around 2:30 this morning (2:25-2:32), faint “whups”& other non-song vocalizations rang through an otherwise quiet soundscape. Listen to the recording here — live.orcasound.net/bouts/bout_0...

Sunday, Indy (T65A5) was in Carr Inlet then Dalco Passage traveling & eating; Southern Resident orcas were reported in Juan de Fuca Strait off Jourdan River, be sweet if there's enough returning 🐟 to entice them back inland Puget Sound.
