@stotesabides.bsky.socialA short stream due to a preceding brief power outage.
On my (mostly) static G1 Laserbeak build, I got my engine vents aluminum taped with a layer of clear packing tape on top to prevent peeling.

@stotesabides.bsky.socialMy static G1 Laserbeak build continues.
I figured out how to start the engines...
I'm doing it as separate component that I'll add to the main body when I'm done.

I stalled on the silver engines, so I pivoted to working on the neck/head.
I left a neck opening in case I want to add LED lights for the eyes...

@dfender42.bsky.socialI’m in Week 4 of my #PSblackout, though I’m starting to question how much impact I’m actually making by not using either of my PlayStations. I might give it one more week, depending if I even want to pick back up a controller. Regardless, the message still remains the same.

@stotesabides.bsky.socialG1 Laserbeak is close to being free standing.
I used staws in a honeycomb shape for the legs and straws for the talons. I still need to finish the talons.
Next step will be building the neck/head...

@revaustin.bsky.socialToday, I've looked at the threats game subscription services are faced with other than their own cost, like the #PSBlackout and the class-action lawsuit against Sony as reported yesterday. Have an eyeball -->
@doesitplay.orgNo surprise who is now downplaying ONE aspect of the #PSBlackout. And media assists with demoralizing posts lacking context. Bravo! Exactly what corpos want. Blackout is successful in many regards, though. Was never meant to solve everything in a week, ofc. Keep it up! Stay loud!
@eddiesilverton.bsky.socialMany people say the #PSBlackout failed because people kept playing. But the real Lesson is different: digital disconnection is hard in a hyper-connected world, yet the community's frustration remains very real 🎮

@psultimate.bsky.social🚨 EL BOICOT CONTRA PLAYSTATION HA FRACASADO
El llamado #PSBlackout prometía castigar a Sony, pero los datos de Circana muestran que no provocó ningún cambio
Mucho ruido en redes. Cero impacto en el mercado real.
