Yup. It’s 😬😬😬 all right. I’d rather just have a black background while the music and credits play, or stills from the show, than this. (Very reminiscent of #ProsecutorsProposal for the intensely AI opening credits intro sequence.)

I feel like 2026 is the year of the 🔥🔥 K-BL, what with this #TwistedTie, but also #ProsecutorsProposal, #Summertime, and #PainterOfTheNight. We are blessed!

I think ChaeHa was surprised in himself by how much he enjoyed sex with TaeSeon despite the whole power angle and degradation aspect. But we as viewers seem later to be given the message that this is because it was TaeSeon rather than a more general kink. #ProsecutorsProposal

Fair point. I think there was some headfuckery kink there, since he knew who Lee ChaeHa was when he propositioned and fucked him. But does that count as proper sex kink, or just him being a bit psychologically fucked up? #ProsecutorsProposal

Recent K-BLs have started out down that path (e.g. #ThundercloudRainstorm, #ProsecutorsProposal) but then switched the D/S with some mild elements of S/M (such as degradation) out for traditional romance instead.

If you liked #ProsecutorsProposal (which I did! a lot!), maybe think about checking out #Summertime. It’s a completely different drama setting but made by the same director and production team, with similar d/s character undertones (overtones?). I actually found it even more gripping than PP.

Another currently airing one is #DutyFirstKissLater, which I’m really enjoying. From earlier this year, did you catch #ProsecutorsProposal? Also #FakeFactLips and #ServantPrince were both excellent! Or last year’s #BallboyTactics?

A couple of good recent/current K-BLs: #ProsecutorsProposal and #Summertime. Both from the same production company that does very nicely intense, sexy, skewed power dynamics kind of dramas. One’s set in a legal office and has plot. The second is high school but realistic levels of teen horny.

Did you see the vid I shared where Grace talks about how popular #ProsecutorsProposal is in China?

I think maybe because now there’s the possibility of live fan events afterwards too, which extend the window. Like we’ve seen just recently with #ProsecutorsProposal.

Apparently #ProsecutorsProposal is super popular in China, as are its two lead actors. 👇
