"Is that it?" Kyle hissed. "Is it reward you're after? What would that be – grander quarters? Your freedom? My head?"

"Well the quarters are nothing to complain about," John Price drawled, tapping the windowsill with his fingertips, "my freedom is up for debate, and your head?" He finally looked at Kyle, a sardonic smile on his lips. "It would be pity if such a handsome head departed such a comely body."
