We explored links between type- & timing-specific characteristics of Childhood Maltreatment (CM) and epigenetic aging in formerly out-of-home placed individuals. CM, esp. abuse in late childhood and mid adolescence, was linked to Hannum’s age deceleration in young adulthood.
