#ECK #PostProcess #Reveal
Original 📷: @rjrock.bsky.social

I wanted to reveal the structure in the otherwise open expanse.

Very much an experiment as I worked in the Affinity app instead of my usual Adobe tools.

edits in Affinity App.

Used layers to dodge/burn for lighting on the area with the structure.

Heavily used a disruption filter to create unrealistic but motivated lighting to bring eye to the structure area.

Painted over the light area in the foreground with the stamp tool to create a dark foreground.

Lens blur on the foreground.

Thank you to @rjrock.bsky.social for the #PostProcess challenge this week of #Reveal. The photo is from Tre Cime in the Dolomites. We decide what stays hidden and what comes forward.

#ECK #EastCoastKin

I used Snapseed to make the following adjustments to the photo: Crop, Halation, Retrolux, Vintage, HDR Scape, and Drama.

Rock @rjrock.bsky.social gives us a other photo for #Postprocess with the theme #Reveal #ECK. The photo Rock gives us was the Cime in the Dolomites. This edit does for sure not right to this stunning mountains. Suggestions what i can do better are welcome.

More in the Alt.

You see here a part from The Cime in the Dolomites. A photo Rock gives us to for editing in our way. What we would leave or hidden.
I have the app Snapseed for the editing. First i have crob the photo that have only the mountains and a little bit fore ground.Than I have almost all the tools Snapseed gives and play with it. From the three versions I have this comes more to what I wanted.i sky with some light and the mist around the tops from the mountain. So they stand dark at the sky. And the lines on the mountain on the right are lit up.

My #Reveal is to portray man's progress, or lack of it ...
in destroying our natural landscape.
Took out the mountain to become an ordinary airstrip.
A plane is taking off ... The majesty of the mountain is gone!...

#PostProcess original photo @rjrock.bsky.social

Took out the wonderful mountain in the original photo to show how man is destroying our natural beauty; in this case for an airstrip...

Here’s my attempt for #PostProcess #Reveal

Chose to reveal the chalet and the digger and added mist effect in an attempt to hide the inevitable pixelation 😂

Original photo by @rjrock.bsky.social

Cropped way down. Blurred the background and sharpened the subjects. All done in Photoshop Express

Process details in ALT.

Using Snapseed, I cropped the photo. Used Curves to modify the colors and Adjust to tweak the brightness, contrast, saturation and ambiance. I used Details to increase the structure. I wanted to reveal what was behind the clouds in the background.

Evening #BlueSky 🫖 Inspired by a gathering storm front revealing itself as the mist clears

For challenge #PostProcess #Reveal #ECK

Have a great rest of your day my freinds ☺️

What a phenomenal original Rock image to work with and thank you my friend for that, such a pleasure to edit from☺️

If we look at the original capture the obvious answer is to reveal something beyond the mist or to evaporate that mist to show something different. I chose the latter.

I took the original image into Lightroom and separated the sky using a linear mask as to isolate that one area.

I then changed colour and lighting values and went into the effects tab to change texture, clarity and some de hazing on the clouds.

I then did a general enhancement of the whole image and finished with a slight vignetting and my usual white border frame.

Unlike last week where I tried to create a calming nighttime star filled sky, this week I wanted to create an ominous storm front, revealing itself as the misty conditions dissolved.

Hello it's Sunday ! Time for a new #postprocess challenge based on a new image by @rjrock.bsky.social . The theme is #reveal .

Details in ALT
#photography #eck

For this challenge I used the snapseed app. The idea was to hide the foreground and to show the background of the image.

Filters used :

- focus effect
- vignette
- retrolux
- grain

Awesome. Just post with the three hashtags: #ECK #PostProcess #Silence

This week we make editing choices about what to #Reveal and what should stay hidden. The photo is from Tre Cime in the Dolomites last week. You decide what stays hidden and what comes forward.

Oct 5 - Oct 11 #Reveal

This week is about what we choose to reveal, in the image and consequently about ourselves. This image is an exposure bracketed landscape photo from Tre Cime shot on the Fuji GFX in the blue hour. It has detail hiding in the high resolution files, in it's shadow, clouds and scale. Decide what stays hidden and what comes forward making the composition yours.

Thanks to @rjrock.bsky.social for original photo. See ALT for details.

Using Snapseed, I cropped the original to make it more intimate. I decreased the brightness, the contrast, the ambiance, highlights and shadows. I increased the saturation. With the Details tool, I decreased the structure and sharpness. I increased the inner vignette brightness and decreased the outer brightness. Back on iPhone, I increased noise reduction.
