An excerpt from "Fly, Songbird, Fly" by pap3rtigers. The text reads:

"After that, you'll do the same for me. Same spot, same thing—your nose against my scent gland, take as long as you need. You'll want to know my scent properly. I won't lie to you, it might be a bit overwhelming, but that's why we're taking this slow as we need."

He pauses for a moment, watching your chest heave even as you try to hide your fear. You came in here, you initiated this whole thing, you don't get to chicken out now—

You want to feel the sun again.

"It won't hurt," he offers a crooked half-smile, almost apologetic. "I know that's… I know you don't believe me, and I know you've got reasons for that. Like I said, it might be a bit overwhelming, but it's not going to hurt. And if it's too much at all, at any point, we stop. I don't care if you push me away, bolt, hide… if it's too much, we stop. No questions. No consequences."
