Triple lock announcement: looks like we are moving away from a triple lock to a double lock by 2030 (index on 2.5 & CPI, dropping earnings). I had done simulations on the potential savings between 2011 and 2025 and it was promising!

At #LPC watching the #PMSpeech. Things I'm watching out for: govt borrowing / fiscal position and potential options (triple lock? Prepare people for lower headroom?), public control & what it means, same for devolution in times of crisis. And keen to see the market reaction.
