Potted up a couple of plants i had been propagating. Was a busy day with this and grandma's 96th birthday. It was a nice day though. #plantdad #nepenthes #nanouk

I love this article. It explains often overlooked or misunderstood issues about the mix you use!

"In a standard bag of soil, the particles are so small that they eventually settle into every available space, squeezing out the air." #plantdad #houseplants #plants #pothos #philodendrons #aroids

I've really come to like my attempt at #kokedama. Using a #spiderplant worked out well. Her roots are starting to appear, & she has #spiderettes appearing. #houseplants #plantsky #plantdad #plants

#houseplants mix can be SO $$$ but I have cost-savers. I buy #cococore @ #petshops. It's the same as #plantshop stuff but lots cheaper. I also use #lumpcharcoal - not #horticulturalcharcoal. You just have to break it up. I then add all the other stuff in pic 3 to a basic medium. #plantdad #plantsky

I've been repotting a # of #houseplants that I've had outside & will need to give away so many. I've got 3-4 #philodendron #brazils that have exploded in size. And, my 3 types of #spiderplants, OMG, it feels like murder if I don't root & pot the babies I take off. #plantsky #plantdad, #plants

I was given a #calathea with only 1 leaf and that died pretty soon after i brought it home, #divided it and look at that. #plants #indoorplants #houseplants #plantdad #plantdoctor #foliageplants #plantfeed #plantcare #plantmaintenance #plantsforfriends
