Pixelfed admins will have the option on how to render the new webUI: SPA, SSR or hybrid, where the client, server or combination of both handles rendering.

There are benefits and tradeoffs, SPA will be enabled by default!

In order not to break things when users update to the newest Pixelfed mobile app, I added intelligent oAuth scope detection to error handling, so you can easily sign out and back in again to load the screen that requires new oAuth scopes!

Speaking of garbage collection, the statuses table on pixelfed.social is almost 300GB.

Soft deletes, plaintext + html caption storage (fixed last year) and inefficient indexes are the main culprit.

I'm looking forward to fixing this with minimal downtime 😎
