Which is why I struck a deal with the Atlanteans. If I would assist them in their war with Egypt, they would not enslave and devour my fellow Israelites once it was conquered. But before I could open key waterways into Cairo, the Ten Plagues struck- along with a posturing idiot screaming about burning bushes. So terrified was the Pharaoh that I was ousted from his palace. The Xenichthys were furious that my task went unfinished, and I feared their wrath even after settling in Canaan. While Moses was away, my people crafted several calves of gold for the Atlanteans as an apology. But Moses returned unexpectedly and had almost all of us murdered as blasphemers. I alone escaped- not back to Egypt, nor into the desert, but rather the Red Sea where the Xenichthys were waiting. As I could return to neither Egypt nor Canaan, I stayed with the Atlanteans. So I could survive underwater (and perhaps atone for welching), they used their magicks and science to transform me into an ageless hybrid warrior. This morning, I taught some of my pipe cleaner skills to 30-40 kids of all ages at Bergen Evangelical Presbyterian Church today. I am pleased to say that around half of them did not need my instruction. 🙂
